The
Alberta Game Warden magazine is a non-profit publication produced
quarterly by volunteer members of the Alberta
Game
Warden
Association. The magazine promotes public awareness of environmental
and natural resource issues that affect all outdoor enthusiasts from
hunters and fishermen to bird watchers.
The
Alberta Game Warden is not a hunting and fishing magazine, but rather a forum for contentious
issues that affect the sportsman as well as the concerned environmentalist.
As you know, the "green movement" has gained widespread support
in recent years and game wardens have always been at the forefront of
that movement. Without a doubt, anyone interested in the outdoors, who
seeks better information and insight, enjoys our publication.
The
Alberta
Game
Warden
Association is a well established,
non-profit society. All members are professional law enforcement officers.
We are
in our fourteenth year of publication, printing approximately 10,000
copies per issue. The magazine is distributed to newsstands throughout
Alberta and to local, national and international subscribers via Canada
Post.
